What to do on rainy days

 

Q | Are Game Change Forms required to cancel a contest due to inclement weather?

A | Yes.  

 

Q | What is the deadline to declare a game playable?

A | 12:00 Noon. Schools are responsible for compensating officials after 12:00.

A | Call/Contact the Assignor first before calling the officials.

 

Q | What if the weather improves after 12:00

A | Games can possibly be rescheduled the same day with Assignors approval.

 

 Q | What happens if it rains just before tip-off?

A | Game Management (not referees) shall determine the safety of a contest and declare the game “unplayable”.

A | Officials are entitled to full payment of a single game if canceled, regardless if the game has started.

 

Q | When can canceled games be rescheduled?

A | Eligible reschedule days vary by sport & season.
