GENERAL INFO
FREE AGENT DRAFTS
FREE AGENT FEES
Free agents are individual players who are looking to join a team or may have a partial group of players that want to play together, but are lacking the depth of a full team.
Each individual player must register on-line, and indicate the friends that he/she is interested in playing with.
Free Agent names are then posted (with permission) on-line. Team Captains from existing teams (who need additional players) can draft any unclaimed Free Agent by contacting Ace 5on5.
Personal information (address/phone, etc.) about any Free Agent is not posted on-line, however you can expect basketball related information to be listed such as: Name, height, position, skill level, and experience. If a team captain is interested in a free agent, the connection between players is made through our office.
Prior to each season (based on registration); free agents are invited to attend a draft in efforts to form a team(s) of individual players. The draft consists of introducing players to each other, exchanging contact info, forming a team, designating a team name and captain, choosing uniform options, playing a few pick-up games together, and meeting "Ace". Time, date, and location are determined just before the draft.
Expect to bring your fees, a great attitude, and come ready to play.
A maximum of ten players are considered for a new team. Priority is given to those who have pre-registered (by date) and paid. If more than 10 players are eligible, we will do our best to find a team for the balance of players.
