The Future Stars Camp focuses on CIF/NFHS rules & mechanics (2-person) with an introduction and refresher on 3-person mechanics.

This camp is geared toward officials working all levels of high school basketball. Newer officials are also welcome as the learning curve is manageable at a comfortable pace unlike our college camp which is advanced.

We provide a camp environment with an approach to teamwork, classroom education, and excellent teaching of fundamentals and advanced techniques of officiating.

The first Future Stars Camp was held in the summer of 2004 @UC Irvine. After two successful years running the collegiate camp, it was an easy decision to structure a camp that would cater to newer officials.

Our goal was to teach referees the fundamentals of officiating, but at a comfortable pace that would not become overwhelming or demanding as the college camp certainly presents. Campers are offered the same signature camp environment of classroom teaching, expert evaluations, and leaving the camp a as a better official on and off the court.
