"House Rules" are general policies and procedures we expect all Ace 5on5 officials to follow.
Financial Dues
To join or maintain an affiliation with Ace 5on5, you will be required to pay the following fees:
$30 | Ace 5on5 Jersey: Optional accessories such as shorts, jackets, whistles, book bags, etc. are additional.
$20 | Annual Affiliation Dues: Are renewable on September 1st each calendar year (regardless of when you join). A late fee of $15 will apply if dues rec'd after September 1st (except new officials).
Your dues support the administrative cost to manage both of our websites which allow us to effectively communicate with our officials using interactive web-based technology.

Arrive on time
Officials are subject to a $10.00 late fine for arriving late (after tip-off) unless we authorize your tardiness in advance. Missing an assignment or multiple late offenses is grounds for long-term suspension.
How to communicate your availability?
» The Referee Availability Form is preferred.
» Phone calls are low priority (unless requested by the assignor).

Reserved for officials only, we encourage you to visit the Referee Locker Room for updates and current events.
Game Confirmation
You will be called each week to confirm your game schedule. Please respond ASAP and confirm that your "book" matches The Arbiter schedule.
Acceptance of Arbiter Games
Games issued on The Arbiter must be "accepted" by the official. Accepting games is a simple task of:
The Arbiter will notify each official of any game changes such as location/time/date/gym, etc. All changes require an additional acceptance.
Professionalism
Be aware of the enviornment that you are working in. We are guests of each facility. Be enthusiatic and cordial to coaches and fans, but take care of business. Think before you speak!
Look like a Referee. Keep a neat uniform and deter from wearing anything eccentric that would draw attention to yourself including jewelry . Proper grooming, language, and representation is appreciated.
