What is the PRT Program?

PRT is short for: Personal Referee Training


Why was the PRT Program established?

PRT is intended to provide an opportunity for referees to continue the learning process of officiating during the off-season in a personalized environment.


Who is the PRT target audience?

PRT is primarily suited for newer officials working high school and youth levels, as well as experienced officials needing to give their career a boost.


What are the benefits of having a Personal Referee Trainer?

Simply speaking, you are hiring a trainer to give you personal attention in individual and small group settings which affords us the time and patience to personalize your learning experience.


What can I expect to learn in the PRT Program?

The PRT Program consists of "themed" workshops covering the fundamental and advanced practical aspects of officiating. Each workshop we will focus on officiating concepts that go beyond the scope of manuals and rulebooks.


When and where are weekly PRT meetings held?

Additional dates and locations will be added in the future.


How many workshops/sessions will the program consist of?

A total of (5) workshops are scheduled for each PRT group consisting of:
* (3) Meeting Sessions
* (2) On-Court Evaluations (plan to work games)


How many participants are in each group?

An ideal number of officials in each group will range between 4 and 8.


Who will instruct/lead the workshops?

Designated staff members will take leadership of the PRT Groups. Guest staff members will be invited to cover specific topics or conduct evaluations.


What are the registration fees to participate?

$125.00 registration


Can I pay for the PRT Program via the "Barter Program"?

YES! The PRT Program is an approved event of the Barter Program.
